Role Overview
We are looking for a seasoned Civil Project In-Charge (AGM/DGM) with strong technical expertise and leadership capability to drive end-to-end execution of large-scale residential developments. The role demands excellence in planning, execution, quality, cost control, and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Strategy
Develop and execute detailed project plans covering timelines, budgets, resources, and risk mitigation
Coordinate with Design, Liaison & Procurement teams during pre-construction
Ensure statutory compliance, constructability, and optimal execution methodologies
Prepare & monitor project schedules using MS Project / Primavera
2. Project Execution & Monitoring
Lead all on-site construction activities in line with approved drawings & specifications
Ensure timely progress as per project schedules and cost targets
Manage contractors, consultants & vendors for quality, safety & timelines
Monitor productivity, material consumption & labour deployment
Proactively identify and resolve execution challenges
3. Quality, Safety & Compliance
Ensure adherence to all statutory, legal & environmental regulations
Implement quality assurance & safety systems as per company & ISO standards
Conduct regular site audits, safety reviews & quality inspections
4. Financial & Cost Management
Prepare & monitor project budgets and cash flows
Review contractor bills, variation claims & rate analysis
Drive cost optimization, value engineering & resource efficiency
5. Stakeholder & Team Management
Liaise with corporate teams, consultants & statutory authorities
Build, mentor & lead a high-performing project team
Ensure strong coordination across engineering, procurement & support functions
Maintain effective communication with management, contractors & local bodies
6. Handover & Post-Completion
Ensure timely handover in coordination with CRM, Facilities & Marketing teams
Oversee defect rectification & post-handover quality assurance
Qualifications & Experience
Education: B.E. / B.Tech Civil Engineering
Experience: 1520 years in large-scale residential / township projects
Must have delivered at least one project as Project In-Charge / Deputy Project In-Charge
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of construction management, RCC, MEP coordination & finishing
Proficiency in MS Project / Primavera & AutoCAD
Exposure to modern construction technologies Mivan, Precast, etc.
Understanding of sustainable building practices
Preferred Background
Experience with reputed real estate developers
Exposure to multi-tower, high-rise or township projects
