Job Description
Your Role
As an Android BSP Developer, you will be instrumental in developing and optimizing software components that enable robust Android device functionality. Youll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, reliable embedded solutions for Android platforms.
In this role, you will:
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement Android Framework, HAL, and driver components.
- Develop and optimize software using strong C/C++ skills and object-oriented design principles.
- Contribute to the integration and enhancement of Android architecture, ensuring seamless operation across system layers.
- Specialize in at least one Android HAL domain such as Audio, Graphics, Camera, or Power, delivering feature-rich solutions.
- Leverage experience with multimedia frameworks like OpenMAX or Codec2 to enhance device capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with CTS/VTS standards and support defect resolution to maintain software quality.
- Apply knowledge of machine learning and deep learning where applicable to drive innovation.
- Utilize a strong background in embedded systems development to address complex system-level challenges.
- Perform system-level debugging and troubleshooting to ensure optimal device performance.
Your Profile
- Engineer with 4+ years of experience in Android Framework, HAL, or driver development.
- Strong C/C++ development skills with a solid understanding of object-oriented design.
- Good understanding of the Android framework and overall Android architecture.
- Proficient in at least one Android HAL area such as Audio, Graphics, Camera, or Power.
- Desirable experience with multimedia frameworks such as OpenMAX or Codec2.
- Experience with CTS/VTS compliance and supporting defect resolution.
- Preferable exposure to machine learning and deep learning technologies.
- Strong background in embedded systems development.
- System-level knowledge and expertise in system debugging.
