Job Description
Job Summary
The Accounts & Finance Manager is responsible for managing the organizations financial operations including accounting, budgeting, taxation, compliance, financial reporting, and cash flow management. The role ensures financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and supports strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Management
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll coordination
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Maintain proper books of accounts in compliance with statutory requirements
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
- Monitor expenses and revenues to ensure alignment with budgetary goals
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to management
Taxation & Compliance
- Handle GST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory compliances
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities
- Ensure timely filing of returns and adherence to legal requirements
Audit & Risk Management
- Manage internal and external audits and close audit observations
- Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Identify financial risks and suggest mitigation strategies
Team & Stakeholder Coordination
- Supervise and mentor accounts and finance team members
- Coordinate with HR, operations, and external stakeholders
- Support management with financial data for strategic planning
Qualifications & Experience
- CA / MBA Finance / M.Com / ICWA
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in accounts and finance management
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and compliance
- Experience in ERP/accounting software (Tally, SAP, Oracle, Zoho, etc.)
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
