Position Summary... What youll do...About the team
Product: Scan N Go (SNG) and Exit App.
SNG and Exit app is the core of customer experience in Sam s Club and Walmart stores. As part of Walmart International we build mission critical applications that allow our customers in Mexico, Canada and Chile to seamlessly shop between Stores and Ecomm channels. We have a full suite of applications for customers and associates to provide safe, secure and effortless checkout experiences.
What You ll Do
1. Manage a highly motivated and high performance team working on a diverse tech stack.
2. Manage stakeholders across Product, Program and Business Operations in Bentonville and Mexico City.
3. Ensure Engineering and Operational Excellence metrics are on par with business standards.
4. Manage high-quality and defect-free delivery of critical customer facing, associate facing and server side applications.
5. Own and drive the quarterly and annual planning of the products.
What You ll bring
1. You are a stack-agnostic technical leader. You can effortlessly work with iOS, Android, React, Java Backend, SQL, NoSQL, Cloud Services, Python, and AI applications.
2. You have exposure to Retail, Ecomm, Hybrid Omni Experiences, Payments and Fraud Detection systems.
3. You bring a kind of engineering rigor to the table that motivates the engineers and makes you a role model for high quality programming and delivery.
4. You have a strong track record of Innovation using emerging technologies; not just demos or POCs, but impactful business features that are live.
5. You are comfortable with Predictive and Gen AI. You can build complex ML and Agentic applications while navigating complex business models, data models and a broad spectrum of use cases.
