Job Description
We are hiring experienced Medical Representatives (MRs) to promote prescription-based pharmaceutical products. The role involves doctor detailing, prescription generation, and effective territory management to achieve assigned sales targets while following ethical pharma practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote prescription-based pharmaceutical products to doctors, clinics, and hospitals.
- Conduct regular doctor visits for product detailing and prescription generation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors, healthcare professionals, and pharmacists.
- Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Ensure effective territory coverage, follow-ups, and market penetration.
- Collect and report market intelligence, competitor activity, and doctor feedback.
- Maintain accurate daily call reports (DCRs) and sales documentation.
- Adhere to company policies and ethical pharmaceutical marketing standards.
Candidate Profile
- Educational qualification in Pharmacy / Life Sciences / Medicine
(B.Pharm / D.Pharm / B.Sc. preferred).
- 1- 5 years of experience as a Medical Representative in prescription-based pharmaceutical sales.
- Strong knowledge of doctor detailing and prescription generation.
- Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with the local medical market of Amritsar or Pathankot.
- Two-wheeler with a valid driving license preferred.
