5G RAN Testing Engineer Automation
Location: Gurugram

Key Responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end testing of 5G RAN (NSA/SA) systems, focusing on Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols.
- Validate LTE features (L2 and above) in integrated environments.
- Develop and execute automation scripts using Python and Robot Framework to streamline test cycles.
- Analyze logs and KPIs to identify issues and ensure compliance with 3GPP standards.
- Collaborate with development and integration teams to troubleshoot and resolve defects.
- Maintain and enhance test environments, including simulators, UE emulators, and traffic generators.
- Document test cases, results, and automation workflows for continuous improvement.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in 5G RAN testing (NSA/SA) with focus on L2/L3 layers.
- Solid understanding of LTE architecture and feature validation.
- Proficiency in Python scripting and Robot Framework for test automation.
- Familiarity with protocol analyzers (e.g., Wireshark) and network simulators.
- Exposure to Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, or Computer Science.
- 4+ years of experience in wireless testing, preferably in 5G/LTE domains.
- Certifications like 5G-NR, LTE Protocol Testing, or Python Automation are advantageous.
