Lead Software Engineer (C, C++ on Unix, Payment domain)
Overview
The Dual Message Authorization team is looking for a Lead Software Development Engineer to drive our customer experience strategy forward by consistently innovating and problem-solving. The ideal candidate is passionate about the customer experience journey, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses an quality driven mindset.
Role
In this lead engineer position, You will:
- Create & enhance development standards, processes, tools and methodologies; partner with other functions to develop and test requirements.
- Mentor all team members
- Work with software developers and domain experts in designing, performing, and improving verification tests
- Work collaboratively and effectively in a very fast paced environment.
- Perform design and code reviews to improve quality of the products
- Drive the architectural design, including dependent services, service interactions and policies.
- Establish program level strategies and roadmaps across platform services.
- Introduce new service lines, new, disruptive, technologies to enhance the program or domain.
- Consult across teams and across service lines to define new opportunities.
- Establish the architectural and capability roadmap for a service.
All About You
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Extensive experience in Java, C, C++ on Unix.
- Experience with socket programming, IPC, Shared memory.
- Experience with Unit test tools, Static code analysis tools, debuggers.
- Payment domain knowledge (ISO 8583) is a definite plus
- Experience in creating and analyzing functional tests based on the requirements
- Experience on SDLC and STLC
- Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and analytical skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Always look for simple potential solutions to solve problems
