Role: Splunk Administrator
Location: Bangalore/Chennai/Hyderabad/Mumbai
Experience Range: 4 to 8 Years
Job Description:
1. Expertise in Splunk / Splunk native
2. Exposure to CI/CD tool chains such as Azure DevOps
3. Scripting and general software development and testing knowledge
4. Instrument basic data ingestion into Splunk using standard logging, and understand creation of visualization, and creation event notification.
5. Instrument advanced data ingestion using add-Ons, HEC, containers and cloud
6. Collaborate with customers and understand initial customer requirements, gather further information as needed and ensure the appropriate solution is delivered.
7. Actively engage with Splunk to get custom ingestion support, work with Cloud team to get data ingested from Cloud and containers.
8. Diagnose basic data ingestion using Add-Ons, HEC, containers and cloud.
9. Working knowledge of Splunk products (Splunk cloud and other Splunk premium applications)
10. Working knowledge of cloud solutions and experience with docker, openshift and kubernetes.
11. Working knowledge of webserver logs, syslog and OS logs.
12. Experience with both Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and development
using python
13. Exposure to CI/CD tool chains, such as Azure and GitHub
14. Scripting and general software development knowledge
