Job Description

Key Responsibilities Informatica & Legacy Assessment Analyze existing Informatica PowerCenter / IICS mappings, workflows, and sessions Perform job complexity assessment and migration feasibility analysis Identify reusable logic, performance bottlenecks, and optimization opportunities AWS Data Engineering Design and develop AWS-native ETL pipelines using Amazon Redshift Convert Informatica transformations into PySpark-based transformations Implement data validation, reconciliation, and error handling Migration & Modernization Execute Informatica-to-AWS migration using refactor or hybrid approaches Support data ingestion using AWS DMS or batch ingestion patterns Ensure data quality, performance, and scalability post-migration Orchestration & Monitoring Build workflow orchestration using AWS Step Functions / EventBridge Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using CloudWatch Ensure SLA adherence and production stability Collaboration & Governance Work closely with architects, QA, DevOps, and business teams Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and migration workshops Create technical documentation and migration runbooks
