Job Description

Role & Responsibilities:-

  • Oversee day-to-day store operations and ensure smooth functioning
  • Drive sales targets, revenue growth, and store profitability.
  • Implement plans to maximize sales while controlling expenses within the budget.
  • Manage and develop the store team through training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Communicate actual sales vs. budgeted to all store employees and to ensure achievement of targets.
  • Ensure high standards of customer service and handle escalations effectively
  • Maintain inventory control, stock accuracy, and shrinkage control
  • To monitor trade-in products, its inventory management and controlling its logistics and disposal.
  • To oversee the inventory process in the store and ensure damaged and defective goods are processed on time and in an accurate manner.
  • To maintain a competition radar and communicate timely feedback w.r.t product, price and promotions.
  • Constantly innovating methodologies to improve customer footfalls and conversion ratio.
  • Scheduling of floor manpower to customer ratio to adequately meet the customer interface.
  • To cultivate, promote and maintain company's culture through teamwork, collaboration, development of people and achievement of targets.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, audit, and safety guidelines
  • Prepare and review MIS reports, sales analysis, and action plans
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (HR, SCM, Finance, Audit, Admin, Safety, Merchandising etc.)

  • Good understanding of retail KPIs and operations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Work Experience:

68 years of experience in Retail Operations.

Minimum 23 years in a Store Manager / Assistant Store Manager role.

Experience in managing in. Min. 5000 Sq. ft. store.

Experience in managing min. 15+ team members

Preferred Industry: Retail / Consumer Durables / Fashion / QSR/FMCG
