Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
The Travel Consultant shall be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:
- Providing travel consultation and advisory services to clients
- Planning, organizing, and executing domestic and international travel arrangements
- Booking flights, hotels, holiday packages, ground transportation, and related services
- Managing ticket issuance, revalidation, re-issuance, cancellations, and refunds
- Ensuring accuracy and compliance with airline fare rules, travel regulations, and visa requirements
- Coordinating with airlines, hotels, tour operators, and service vendors
- Maintaining complete and accurate booking records and customer documentation
- Addressing customer queries, complaints, and service issues in a professional manner
- Promoting and upselling travel-related products and services where applicable
- Ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards
Technical and Functional Requirements
- Working knowledge of Global Distribution Systems (Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre, or equivalent)
- Familiarity with travel documentation, fare structures, and ticketing procedures
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and travel booking platforms

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications
- Graduate degree or equivalent qualification.
- Formal education in Travel, Tourism, or Hospitality shall be preferred.
Professional Experience
- Mandatory requirement: The candidate must possess relevant professional experience in the travel industry.
- Prior experience in airline ticketing, tour operations, corporate travel management, or leisure travel services is required.
