Job Description
Description:We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Visualization Specialist to join our data intelligence team. This role is designed for a technical expert who bridges the gap between complex data engineering and executive decision-making.
The ideal candidate possesses a deep mastery of the "Big Three" of dataPower BI, Tableau, and Advanced Excelcomplemented by a strong foundation in ETL processes. You will be responsible for transforming raw, disparate data into intuitive, high-impact dashboards that drive business strategy.
Requirements:
Preferred Qualifications
Education: Bachelors degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
Experience: 4+ years of professional experience in a dedicated Business Intelligence or Data Engineering role.
Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate or Tableau Desktop Specialist/Certified Data Analyst.
Experience with Big Data: Familiarity with Snowflake, Azure Synapse, or AWS Redshift is a major plus.
Job Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain complex automated dashboards and reports in both Power BI and Tableau to support various business units.
Data Modeling & ETL: Build and optimize robust data pipelines. Extract data from multiple sources (SQL, cloud APIs, flat files), transform it using Power Query or Alteryx, and load it into optimized data models.
Advanced Analytics: Write complex DAX (Power BI) and Calculated Fields (Tableau) to perform sophisticated time-series analysis, forecasting, and statistical modeling.
Excel Mastery: Utilize Advanced Excel (VBA, Power Pivot, Array Formulas) for ad-hoc modeling, data validation, and "what-if" analysis.
Performance Tuning: Optimize report performance and SQL queries to ensure fast load times for large datasets.
Stakeholder Management: Translate business requirements into technical specifications and present insights to non-technical leadership.
