Job Role: Automation Test Lead (Selenium, Java with Mockito)
Location: Chennai, Pune, Bangalore, Mumbai
Work Mode: Hybrid (2 days WFO)
Experience: 5 to 10 years - (Specialist/Lead)

We are looking for an Automation Test Engineer (SDET) who will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality software by leveraging modern automation frameworks, Selenium with Java, and unit testing tools like Mockito.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java.
- Build scalable and reusable automation frameworks to support functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Write unit tests and mock dependencies using Mockito.
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product managers to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation.
- Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution.
- Continuously improve automation coverage and efficiency.
Qualification:
- 5+ years of experience in automation and manual testing with test case writing and execution.
- Proven experience in automation testing with Selenium and Java.
- Strong proficiency in Java programming.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for UI automation.
- Solid understanding of Mockito for unit testing and mocking.
- Experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks (TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, or custom).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred/Good to have skills
- Experience with API automation (RestAssured, Postman, Karate).
- Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling).
- Exposure to cloud-based testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
- Understanding of DevOps practices and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
