Job Description
- Proficiency in Python: Strong experience with Python 3.10 and up, including object-oriented programming and design patterns. Experience on building applications that supports multi processes/threads
- Data Handling & Analysis: Expertise in working with large datasets using libraries like Pandas, NumPy
- Visualization Tools: Familiarity with Matplotlib, Plotly, Bokeh and/or Streamlit for reporting and dashboards.
- Database Skills: Experience with SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL, MS Sql, Snowflake) and familiarity with NoSQL solutions.
- APIs & Integration: Ability to build and consume RESTful APIs for data ingestion and integration with trading or portfolio systems. Experience in FastAPI is a plus. Experience with Swagger and Postman
- Cloud & DevOps: Familiarity with AWS and CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
- Testing & Quality: Strong unit testing and integration testing practices using pytest or similar frameworks.
- Version Control: Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Preferred Experience
- Financial Modeling: Exposure to quantitative finance concepts such as risk metrics, performance attribution, and valuation models.
- Data Engineering: Experience building ETL pipelines for market and reference data. desirable
- Microservices Architecture: Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).

- Collecting and organizing data from various sources for analysis.
- Creating and maintaining dashboards and reports to monitor business performance.
- Identifying trends and patterns within data to support strategic initiatives.
- Communicating findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define metrics and develop data-driven solutions.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, and data visualization software.
- A solid understanding of statistical concepts and methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to present data-driven insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- A background in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, or computer science is preferred.
