Job Description

A Healthcare Data Analyst collects, cleans, and interprets complex medical, clinical, and administrative data to improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency. They transform data into actionable insights,, using SQL, SAS, and visualization tools to support, for example, hospitals, insurance firms, and public health agencies in strategic decision-making and cost reduction.

Data Management & Collection: Gather, clean, and manage data from multiple sources, including Electronic Health Records (EHRs), claims, and clinical trials.
Analysis & Modeling: Identify trends and patterns in patient behavior, readmission rates, and treatment outcomes using statistical methods and modeling.
Reporting & Visualization: Create dashboards and reports (e.g., in Tableau or Power BI) to present findings to stakeholders.
Process Improvement: Recommend data-driven solutions to enhance care quality and reduce operational costs.
Compliance & Security: Ensure all data handling adheres to regulations such as HIPAA
