Verify import documents such as Invoice, Packing List, HAWB/MAWB, COO, and other mandatory certificates. Ensure correct HS Code classification, duty structure, and valuation as per Customs regulations. Manage special import cases such as: o Used machinery o Re-import shipments Resolve customs queries, objections, and assessments. Freight Forwarding Operations * Coordinate with overseas agents, airlines, shipping lines, and transporters. * Track shipment status from origin to final delivery. * Monitor arrival schedules, free time, and demurrage/detention. * Plan timely delivery to consignee to avoid additional charges. Key Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of import customs clearance procedures Understanding of freight forwarding operations (Air/Sea) Familiarity with Customs ICEGATE, BOE filing, and import regulations Good communication and coordination skills.
