Job Description
About Position:
This role leads the enterprise modernization of the data platform, driving the migration from Informatica PowerCenter to Databricks on AWS. The Data Architect is responsible for defining the target-state architecture, migration strategy, and governance standards, while ensuring scalability, performance, and security. The role works closely with business and technical stakeholders to enable a modern, cloud-native, analytics-ready data ecosystem.

What You'll Do:
- Lead the enterprise migration from Informatica PowerCenter to Databricks, defining target-state architecture and migration strategy.
- Design and implement scalable, AWS-native data platforms using Databricks and Delta Lake.
- Establish standardized data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration frameworks aligned with modern ELT practices.
- Drive performance optimization, security, and governance across the data ecosystem.
- Facilitate architecture workshops, migration assessments, and stakeholder alignment.
Expertise You'll Bring:
- 12+ years of experience in data architecture and large-scale data engineering.
- Deep hands-on expertise in Informatica PowerCenter to Databricks migrations and performance tuning.
- Strong command of Databricks on AWS (PySpark, SQL, Delta Lake, Jobs, notebooks).
- Proven experience with AWS data services (S3, IAM, Glue, Lambda, Step Functions/MWAA, KMS, Secrets Manager).
- Strong leadership, communication, and problemsolving skills
