Job Description
Role & responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications, ensuring performance, scalability, security, and an excellent user experience.
This role requires deep technical knowledge, architectural expertise, and the ability to mentor junior developers while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. Key
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms
- Lead end-to-end mobile application development including architecture, coding, testing, deployment, and monitoring
- Ensure best practices in code quality, performance optimization, memory management, and security.
- Implement and manage push notifications, real-time communication, and background services
- Integrate RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and third-party SDKs
- Handle Play Store and App Store publishing, release management, and compliance
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend teams, and QA to deliver high-quality features
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce engineering standards
- Troubleshoot production issues using analytics and crash reporting tools
- Drive adoption of modern mobile development practices and framework
Preferred candidate profile
Technical Skills & Expertise:
- Android,Strong proficiency in Java, Kotlin
- Reactive programming using RxJava, RxBinding
- Dependency Injection using Dagger / Hilt
- Networking using Retrofit
- Data persistence using Realm, Room
- Parcelable implementation and Android SDK internals
- Unit testing with Mockito, JUnit
- Firebase services: FCM, Crashlytics, App Distribution
- Experience with background services, notifications, and deep linking
- Strong understanding of Android lifecycle, Jetpack components, and modular architecture iOS
- Strong proficiency in Swift, SwiftUI
- Reactive programming using RxSwift
- Dependency management using CocoaPods, Swift Package Manager
- Networking using Alamofire
- App authentication and secure storage (AppAuth, Keychain)
- Unit & UI testing using XCTest, XCUITest
- Code quality tools such as SwiftLint
- Experience with charts and data visualization (Charts framework)
- Strong understanding of iOS lifecycle, memory management, and concurrency (GCD / async-await) Backend & Cloud Integration
- Real-time communication using WebSockets
- Push notification services using AWS SNS
- Audio/Video or collaboration services using AWS Chime
- Experience with AWS Amplify
- Understanding of REST APIs, authentication (OAuth2, JWT), and secure communication
DevOps, CI/CD & Release Management:
- Mobile CI/CD using Fastlane
- Experience with automated builds, testing, and deployments
- Play Store & App Store provisioning, certificates, signing, and compliance
- App versioning, phased rollouts, and hotfix strategies
Architecture & Best Practices:
- Strong experience with MVVM, Clean Architecture, Modular Architecture
- Solid understanding of SOLID principles, design patterns, and scalable app design
- Experience handling large-scale apps with multiple modules and teams
- Strong debugging, profiling, and performance tuning skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Jetpack Compose
- Knowledge of accessibility, localization, and internationalization
- Familiarity with security best practices (encryption, secure storage, OWASP Mobile Top 10)
