Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Platform Support Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be at the heart of our cloud operations, focusing on developing and maintaining Python-based solutions within a modern, serverless AWS environment. You will work closely with our engineering and operations teams to ensure our platform is scalable, efficient, and reliable. If you enjoy solving technical puzzles in an Agile environment and are eager to work with cutting-edge cloud tech, we'd love to meet you!
Key Responsibilities
- Serverless Development: Write and maintain clean, efficient Python code using a serverless framework on the AWS platform.
- Operational Excellence: Monitor and optimize platform performance, ensuring all services run smoothly on AWS.
- Agile Collaboration: Participate in 2-week sprints, contributing to daily stand-ups and ensuring tasks are delivered on time and to high standards.
- API & Data Management: Use Postman for API testing and SQL for data querying and management to support platform stability.
- Version Control: Maintain codebase integrity using GitHub for collaboration and version tracking.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to automate manual tasks and improve platform reliability.
Required Skills
- Technical Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience with Python and SQL.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Practical understanding of AWS (specifically serverless architecture/Lambda).
- Development Tools: Proficiency with GitHub for version control and Postman for API testing and debugging.
- Agile Mindset: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on sprint-based delivery.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to team members clearly.
Qualifications
- Experience: Ideally 2+ years of professional experience in a technical or operations role. We are also open to highly skilled fresh graduates who can demonstrate strong technical projects or internships.
- Education: A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. However, we value skill over everythingif you come from a different background but have the technical expertise, we encourage you to apply.
- Certifications: While not mandatory, any AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer or SysOps Administrator) are a great plus.
