CAD Jewellery Designer @ Kantilal Chhotalal

About the Role

We are looking for a mid to senior CAD jewellery designer to work on our rose-cut cocktail and Pret jewellery. This is a pure CAD role no manual sketching required.

You will design high-end, contemporary jewellery and help guide younger CAD designers in the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed CAD designs for high-end jewellery (earrings, rings, pendants, bracelets)
• Work mainly on rose-cut and cocktail-style pieces with a contemporary aesthetic
• Translate design concepts into production-ready CAD files
• Ensure designs are technically correct and suitable for fine jewellery making
• Mentor and train junior CAD designers
• Review and improve CAD work done by younger team members
• Work closely with the design and production teams

Required Experience & Skills

• 5+ years experience in jewellery CAD design
• Strong experience in high-end or fine jewellery
• Comfortable designing earrings and statement pieces
• Good understanding of stone setting, proportions, and construction
• Experience with Rhino / Matrix or similar CAD software
• Ability to explain work clearly and support junior team members
