Role Snapshot
This is a senior, revenue-owning sales role responsible for driving business growth in an assigned territory. The Assistant Sales Manager will manage the complete sales lifecycle from prospecting to closure for high-value B2B racking and warehousing projects.
Mandatory Requirement
- Minimum 6 years of experience in Racking / Warehousing / Storage Systems sales.
- Note: Candidates without relevant racking or warehousing experience will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development: Drive new business through prospecting, cold calling, and relationship building.
- Sales Cycle Management: Manage lead generation, technical discussions, proposal submission, negotiation, closure, and payment follow-up.
- Product Focus: Handle sales of racking, shelving, warehousing, and automation solutions.
- Solution Selling: Understand customer requirements and recommend technically suitable solutions.
- Client Engagement: Conduct client presentations and meetings with customers and external stakeholders.
- Revenue Generation: Meet revenue targets within the assigned territory and maintain long-term relationships with key customers.
- Internal Collaboration: Coordinate with design, production, and product development teams.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activity and market trends to refine sales strategies.
- Team Support: Support and guide regional sales teams to achieve business objectives.
- Marketing & Events: Participate in exhibitions, technical forums, and marketing initiatives.
- Operational Oversight: Ensure accurate order processing, timely execution, and provide after-sales support.
- Reporting: Submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to management.

Qualifications & Experience
- Education: B.Tech / B.E or any graduate with a technical education background.
- Experience: 6+ years of relevant industry experience.
