Job Description

A Restaurant Reservation Manager

Oversees the booking process, manages the reservation team, and optimizes seating capacity to maximize revenue. They handle guest inquiries, maintain database accuracy, and coordinate with front-of-house staff for special requests. Key duties include managing booking systems (e.g., OpenTable), analyzing traffic trends, and ensuring high service standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management: Oversee daily reservation systems (e.g., OpenTable, Resy), ensuring accuracy in bookings, cancellations, and guest preferences.
Revenue Optimization: Maximize table turnover and seating capacity by analyzing, forecasting, and adjusting booking paces and, if applicable, in-room dining.
Guest Service & Experience: Handle high-level guest inquiries, resolve complaints, and build relationships with VIPs or repeat patrons.
Team Leadership: Train, schedule, and supervise reservation agents or hosts, ensuring consistent adherence to service standards.
Communication & Collaboration: Liaise with the General Manager, Front of House (FOH) managers, and marketing teams to coordinate special events, promotions, and dietary restrictions.
Reporting: Monitor, evaluate, and report on booking trends, guest satisfaction, and performance metrics.
