Job Description
As an Adobe Launch Tag Management Specialist sometimes called Adobe Launch Developer Coordinator or Tag Management Analytics Specialist you will be responsible for designing deploying and maintaining Adobe Launch implementations for websites and applications You will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to develop tagging solutions that support advanced analytics and marketing initiatives ensuring efficient accurate data collection and seamless integration with the broader Adobe Experience Cloud ecosystem
Key Responsibilities
Tag Management Implement configure and manage Adobe Launch to deploy analytics and marketing tags across digital properties
Data Layer Development Collaborate with developers to design build and maintain scalable data layers for efficient data collection
Integration Integrate Adobe Launch with Adobe Analytics and other Adobe Experience Cloud products eg Target Audience Manager as well as thirdparty marketing platforms and CRM systems
Audit Migration Audit review and assess existing tags for effectiveness and relevance migrate tags between platforms eg from Adobe Launch to Google Tag Manager as needed
Testing Troubleshooting Debug and resolve issues related to tag firing data discrepancies and platform integrations using tools like Charles Proxy Fiddler or browser developer tools
Documentation Develop and maintain documentation including solution design references SDRs tracking plans and implementation guides
Collaboration Work closely with marketing IT analytics and product teams to support an aligned tagging and analytics strategy
Optimization Regularly audit and optimize Adobe Launch configurations for performance and scalability
Project Coordination Manage and prioritize tagging feature requests and implementations from start to finish ensuring all implementations meet standards and deadlines
Required Skills Experience
6 years of experience with Adobe Launch Tag Manager and Adobe Analytics
Experience with other tag management systems eg Google Tag Manager ensightenTealium IQ is a plus
Proficiency in JavaScript HTML and CSS for custom tagging solutions
Strong knowledge of web analytics concepts including KPIs attribution models and event tracking
Experience with data layer development and schema design
Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills for tag management and data tracking issues
Strong communication skills and ability to work crossfunctionally
Detailoriented with a focus on accuracy in data tracking and reporting
Experience with analytic reporting and debugging tools eg Omnibug Charles Proxy
Familiarity with data privacy regulations eg GDPR CCPA and their impact on tagging strategies
Preferred Qualifications
Adobe certifications eg Adobe Launch Developer Adobe Analytics Architect
Experience with Adobe Experience Cloud products eg Target Audience Manager
Experience with mobile tagging eg AEP Core Mobile SDK Adobe Assurance
Knowledge of additional analytics platforms eg Google Analytics or marketing automation tools
