DevOps - Senior Engineer @ Iris Software

• 5+ years of experience as DevOps engineer
• Strong hands-on expertise with GitLab CI/CD
• Good knowledge of migration from Jenkins to Gitlab
• Scripting skills: Bash, Python.
• Infrastructure automation using Ansible.
• Strong experience with Docker and containerized deployment
• Good experience with Linux-based deployment environments.
• Solid knowledge of Git branching and release strategies.
• Awareness of scheduling tools like Tivoli
• Experience/knowledge on quality and monitoring tools like Sonar, Grafana
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline automation is a must.
• Candidate must be proactive and does not require a push every time, self-driven
• Knowledge of working in Agile Scrum model is a must to have. Should have knowledge of working in sprints.
• Candidate must have agile process hands on experience , must have JIRA in day-to-day work.
• Should be quick learner and self-starter. Should be inquisitive about the program and actively participate in discussions around process and engineering improvements
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Can work independently with minimum supervision
• Good Communication and analytical skills
• Flexible and adaptable working style to work with multiple stakeholders
• Open to work in UK Shift (10 AM to 9 PM IST with 8 hours of productive work)

Desirable

• Exposure to AWS
• Experience in legacy-to-modern DevOps transformation
• Certification in Banking domain
