Job Description
Position Summary... Our team is responsible for building data driven highly optimised Integrated E-commerce E2E Customer Journey System to manage entire gamut of Store Order s lifecycle for our retail and e-commerce lines of business. With our rapidly increasing footfalls in stores and exponential growth in online orders; this all has to be done to scale millions of owned and marketplace SKU s complete inbound and outbound fulfilment lifecycles. What youll do... About the Team
Our team is responsible for building data driven highly optimized Integrated E-commerce E2E Customer Journey System to manage entire gamut of Store Order s lifecycle for our retail and e-commerce lines of business. With our rapidly increasing footfalls in stores and exponential growth in online orders; this all has to be done to scale millions of owned and marketplace SKU s complete inbound and outbound fulfilment lifecycles.
What You ll Do
Perform quality assurance testing for large-scale, commerce applications, tools, and/or software.
Support continuous integration process improvement and innovation
Support faster releases by efficient automation strategies
Write test plans and test cases.
Write test cases for UI & API s, Ingestion, DB Comparators and Event Management tools.
Logs verification backend and frontend.
Raise defects, triage and get it resolved in a timely manner
Improve, optimise, and identify opportunities for improved software development lifecycle.
Troubleshoot critical defects and identify root cause.
What You ll bring
- Strong expertise of coding and programming skills in Java
- Experience with automation design, scripting, and execution
- Strong experience in developing Testing tools/ Utilities.
- Strong understanding of quality, testing principles and writing effective test cases.
- Expertise on at least one out of Backend and Frontend automation
- Experience in Designing and executing API functional/ E2E testing and backend (DB, Batch, Events, Queues) automation using Rest Assured and postman
- Experience in Designing and executing UI Functional/ E2E testing (Web and Responsive) Manual and Automation Testing using Selenium, Maven and TestNG
- Automated Reporting, CI/CD/CV enablement and Excellent Debugging Skills on Cloud infrastructure for Automation and Applications both
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, GIT , build processes, testing, and operations
- SAP E2E knowledge on SD, MD, S4 and CAR
- TOSCA SAP Automation
- Working knowledge on testing Kafka based applications is a plus
- Expertise in building and Maintaining Test Automation Frameworks using Selenium, TestNG or API / Webservices Automation in Java
- Experience in Continuous integration process implementation by building CI / CD Pipeline using Jenkins and Integrate with Maven
- Knowledge on unit test frameworks such as Junit, TestNG
