Job Description

A Food Production Packer prepares, seals, labels, and organizes food products for shipment or storage in a manufacturing environment. Key duties include monitoring packaging machines, performing quality checks to remove defective items, meeting production quotas, and maintaining strict food safety/sanitation standards. This is a hands-on, physically active, entry-level role requiring standing for long periods.
Key Responsibilities
Packing & Assembly: Pack finished food products into containers, boxes, or crates accurately.
Quality Control: Visually inspect products for defects, improper sealing, or contamination and remove them from the line.
Machine Operation: Load packaging materials, operate machinery, make minor adjustments, and report faults to supervisors.
Labeling & Organization: Properly label, weigh, and seal products according to specifications.
Sanitation: Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organized work area, following strict food safety guidelines.
Teamwork & Production: Meet daily production targets and cooperate with team members to ensure efficiency.
