Job Summary:
To manage end-to-end godown operations by ensuring accurate receipt, storage, movement, and dispatch of goods, effective control over inventory, assets and pilferage, compliance with statutory and food safety norms, and coordination with vendors, internal teams, and auditors to support smooth store operations.
Job Responsibility:
- Plan vendor schedules and manage daily inwards.
- Supervise goods receiving and GRN completion within timelines.
- Maintain accurate godown, gate pass, vehicle and inward registers.
- Ensure proper layout, stacking norms and FSSAI compliance.
- Control inventory, excess stock, debit stocks and returns.
- Coordinate with vendors for debit and returnable item pickups.
- Track vehicle movement, receiving time and prevent pilferage.
- Ensure timely stock movement to floor with proper compliance.
- Plan manpower and guide the godown team through daily briefings.
- Conduct stock takes and support audits and compliance activities.
