About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Leader to drive engineering excellence for our Competitor Monitoring Tool within the Pricing domain. This tool powers our ability to scrape competitor data, process insights, and match results to our product portfolioplaying a critical role in pricing intelligence and decision-making.
You will collaborate closely with the Product Owner, Domain Architect, and Engineering Team, leading technical design, architecture decisions, and delivery of scalable, modernized backend systems. This role offers the opportunity to shape how our tool evolves and integrates into our broader product ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead solution investigation, estimation, planning, and crossteam alignment.
- Design, implement, and deliver backend microservice-based solutions (RESTful services).
- Enhance and optimize crawler/scraper performance and reliability.
- Enable integration of analytics and strengthen productmatching capabilities.
- Drive and promote test automation (unit, integration, E2E).
- Own CI/CD pipelines and ensure seamless integration, testing, and deployment.
- Oversee cloud deployments using Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform.
- Maintain existing applications, reduce technical debt, and improve system reliability.
- Mentor engineers and elevate engineering practices across the team
Mandatory Skills
- Programming (7+ years): TypeScript, JavaScript
- Backend Frameworks: Nest.js
- Web Technologies (3+ years): REST APIs, modern frontend frameworks (React/Angular/Vue familiarity acceptable)
- Database Management (3+ years): PostgreSQL, SQL/NoSQL
- Crawler/Scraper Development: Playwright or similar tools
- Cloud Platforms (5+ years): AWS (S3, SQS, RDS, EC2, Lambda)
- DevOps (8+ years): CI/CD (Jenkins), Docker, Kubernetes
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, AWS CLI
- Monitoring Tools: InfluxDB, Grafana, ELK Stack, Prometheus, Sensu
- Version Control: Git
- Software Development Methodologies (10+ years): Agile/Scrum/Kanban
- Leadership (3+ years): Team mentorship, technical guidance
- Security: Best practices in authentication, authorization, encryption
- Architecture: Experience designing scalable, reliable distributed systems
- Testing: Unit, Integration, E2E frameworks
- Performance Optimization: Identifying and resolving bottlenecks
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, decision-making, collaboration & problemsolving
