Job Description
Role & responsibilities
Solution Architecture & Design
- Architect endtoend SAP BRIM solutions covering Subscription Order Management (SOM), Convergent Charging (CC), Convergent Invoicing (CI), FICA, and integration layers.
- Design scalable architectures for highvolume rating, charging, bill processing, and settlement.
- Define target operating models and solution roadmaps for enterprise billing processes.
2. BRIM Module Expertise
- Lead architecture for the following BRIM components:
- SAP Subscription Billing (SSB)
- SAP Convergent Charging (SAP CC)
- SAP Convergent Invoicing (CI/FI-CA)
- SAP SOM / CRM / CPQ integration
- Billing & invoicing workflows
3. Integration Leadership
- Define and govern integrations between SAP BRIM and:
- ERP (S/4HANA)
- CRM systems
- Payment gateways
- Tax systems (Vertex/Avalara)
- External mediation and rating engines
- Customer portals and digital platforms
4. Project Delivery & Governance
- Lead workshops, solution blueprinting, and functional/technical design.
- Provide guidance to BRIM consultants, developers, and integration teams.
- Ensure solution compliance with SAP best practices and system performance benchmarks.
5. Technical Oversight
- Oversee data migration strategy: contracts, subscriptions, balances, and financial documents.
- Guide enhancement frameworks, BADI implementations, and custom extensions.
- Conduct architecture reviews and performance tuning of BRIM components.
6. Stakeholder Management
- Engage with business teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable architectures.
- Serve as a trusted advisor for monetization, billing operations, and revenue management.
Preferred candidate profile
- 815+ years of SAP experience, with 4+ years in SAP BRIM.
- Strong knowledge of:
- SAP CC rating & charging
- CI/FICA processes (dunning, invoicing, payments, clearing)
- Subscription lifecycle management
- Event/usage mediation
- S/4HANA Finance + BRIM integration
- Experience in REST APIs, SOAP, CPI, PO, BTP Integration Suite.
