Job Description
Role & responsibilities
We are looking for a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate enterprise-scale Azure platforms with a strong focus on automation, reliability, and security. This role is hands-on and suited for someone who owns CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, AKS, and Azure platform services end-to-end.
You will work closely with development, systems, and application support teams to enable fast, stable, and secure delivery of cloud-native workloads in multi-subscription and hybrid Azure environments.
What Youll Do
- Design and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines (YAML-based) for infrastructure and application deployments
- Build and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and ARM/Bicep across multiple Azure subscriptions
- Deploy, operate, and troubleshoot Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) in production environments
- Design and manage Azure API Management (APIM) for secure and scalable API exposure
- Support enterprise-scale Azure environments, including subscription structure, governance, and standardization
- Deploy and manage Azure IaaS and PaaS services, including:
- Virtual Machines, VNets, Load Balancers
- App Services, Storage Accounts, Azure SQL
- Key Vault, Managed Identity, Private Endpoints
- Implement monitoring and observability using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights
- Collaborate with development teams supporting applications built on .NET, Node.js, or similar stacks
- Design solutions aligned with high availability and disaster recovery best practices
- Apply security and compliance controls including RBAC, network security, secrets management, and policy enforcement
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across pipelines, infrastructure, networking, and applications
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring as needed
Preferred candidate profile
- 68 years of experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering
- 35 years of hands-on Azure experience in enterprise or multi-subscription environments
- Strong experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline design
- Proven hands-on experience with Terraform (modules, state management, multi-environment deployments)
- Strong experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Hands-on experience with Azure API Management (APIM)
- Solid understanding of Azure networking and hybrid cloud architectures
- Experience with Git-based version control (Azure Repos, GitHub, GitLab)
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python
- Experience with Linux and Windows environments
- Working knowledge of .NET or Node.js application stacks
- Experience implementing cloud security and compliance controls
- Familiarity with Jira or similar tools
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments
Certifications
- Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
Note: Looking for Immediate or Serving Notice Period candidates.
Locations: Hyderabad/Chennai
Mode of Work: Hybrid (3 days WFO)
Shift: 3pm to 12 am (with flexibility)
