Job Description
Role & responsibilities

1. Cloud Architecture & Engineering
- Design, build, and manage highly available and scalable cloud architectures on AWS.
- Implement microservices and containerized workloads using EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) and ECS (Elastic Container Service).
- Ensure robust storage, security, and lifecycle management using Amazon S3.
- Architect serverless solutions leveraging AWS Lambda and event-driven frameworks.
2. DevOps, Automation & CI/CD
- Lead the design and implementation of complex CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK).
- Drive DevOps best practices across the organization including observability, logging, monitoring, and alerting.
3. AI/ML Deployment
- Support deployment and optimization of GPT2.0 or similar machine learning models on AWS.
- Implement scalable inference pipelines and automate model lifecycle management.
4. Technical Leadership
- Mentor and guide DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of automation, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, and product stakeholders to define technical requirements and implementation strategies.
- Conduct architecture reviews, performance tuning, and cloud cost optimization.
5. Operations & Security
- Ensure compliance with cloud security standards, IAM governance, and data protection strategies.
- Manage production operations, incident response, and root-cause analysis for critical failures.
- Oversee backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
Preferred candidate profile
Required Skills:
- 7+ years of experience in DevOps / SRE / Cloud Engineering roles.
- Strong hands-on experience in AWS services including EC2, EKS, ECS, VPC, Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, and IAM.
- Proven track record of designing and maintaining enterprise-level EKS and ECS clusters.
- Expertise in CI/CD tools and modern DevOps practices.
- Strong scripting capabilities (Python, Bash, Go, or similar).
- Experience deploying or managing GPT2.0 or other AI/ML models in production environments (preferred).
- Deep understanding of networking, security, and cloud infrastructure automation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problemsolving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect / DevOps Engineer.
- Experience with service mesh (Istio, App Mesh), API management, and distributed tracing.
- Familiarity with GitOps tools (ArgoCD, Flux).
- Background in highavailability, lowlatency systems and performance engineering.
