Job Description
About Position:
We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer with strong expertise in Functional QA, Networking protocols, and Cloud-based troubleshooting. The ideal candidate must have solid hands-on experience in Python (manual + automation) and working knowledge of at least one major cloud platform (AWS/Azure/GCP). This role requires excellent debugging skills, the ability to read and analyze application logs, and independently resolve complex issues.

What You'll Do:
- Quality Assurance & Testing
- Perform functional, regression, system, and integration testing for complex applications.
- Design and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Conduct manual and automated testing using Python-based frameworks.
- Ensure test coverage for networking components, protocols, and cloud-based deployments.
- Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps.
- Networking & Protocols
- Validate and troubleshoot networking protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, DHCP, SSL/TLS, and routing/switching concepts.
- Perform packet-level analysis and network debugging using tools like Wireshark, tcpdump, Postman, cURL, etc.
- Cloud & Deployment Troubleshooting
- Hands-on experience with AWS / Azure / GCP (at least one mandatory).
- Troubleshoot issues in cloud deployments, microservices, and distributed architectures.
- Work with cloud-native services (EC2, S3, CloudWatch, Lambda, VM/compute services, Storage, Networking, etc.).
- Identify failures using logs, metrics, dashboards, and monitoring tools.
- Scripting & Automation
- Write, maintain, and optimize Python scripts or test automation frameworks.
- Automate repetitive test scenarios, environment setups, and workflow validations.
- Integrate automated test cases with CI/CD pipelines.
- Debugging & Log Analysis
- Read, analyze, and interpret application logs, server logs, and system logs.
- Independently debug and resolve issues based on logs, error patterns, and APIs.
- Collaborate with engineering teams for root-cause analysis
Expertise You'll Bring:
- Strong Functional QA Expertise with deep understanding of test planning, test case design, and defect lifecycle management.
- Handson experience with Python for manual scripting and automation; ability to build, maintain, and optimize automated test suites.
- Solid understanding of Networking fundamentals and protocols including TCP/IP, UDP, DHCP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, and packetlevel debugging.
- Proven experience working on Cloud platforms AWS, Azure, or GCP (at least one mandatory).
- Ability to troubleshoot cloud-based deployments, microservices, and distributed environments.
- Proficiency in analyzing application logs / system logs / cloud logs and independently identifying root causes.
- Experience with API testing using Postman, Swagger, cURL, and integrating API checks into automation.
- Knowledge of virtualization, containerization, or orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions) and version control.
- Strong debugging skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate problems, scenarios, and results clearly.
