Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

1. ServiceNow App Engine Development & Configuration

• Set up, configure, and optimize the ServiceNow App Engine per client specifications.
• Develop, configure, and deploy custom applications tailored to business needs.

2. Workflow & Playbook Development

• Design and maintain App Engine workflows.
• Develop robust Playbooks with strong handson experience.

3. Technical Configuration & Scripting

• Perform handson configuration, scripting, and troubleshooting within the ServiceNow environment.
• Work with UI Builder, JavaScript, AngularJS, and both server-side and client-side scripting.

4. Integrations

• Integrate external services using web services, JDBC integrations, and filebased parsers.
• Build and maintain automations and APIs using Integration Hub.

5. Documentation & Consulting

• Create detailed technical documentation, design artifacts, and implementation specifications.
• Capture, analyze, and document business requirements to design suitable ServiceNow solutions.

6. Global Collaboration

• Work seamlessly with global delivery teams and crossfunctional stakeholders.

Preferred candidate profile

Experience

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Information Technology.
• At least 6 years of handson ServiceNow experience (ITSM preferred).
• Minimum 2 years in ServiceNow custom application development.
• Proven experience with:
• UI Builder
• Integration Hub
• JavaScript (server-side & client-side)
• UI scripting (AngularJS)

Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in:
• ServiceNow Workflow
• JavaScript
• HTML
• AngularJS
• Bootstrap
• Solid experience with thirdparty integrations and API development.

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication and consulting skills.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a crossfunctional environment.
