Job Description
A. Key Roles and Responsibilities for Mechanical Services
- Verifying the proper installation of rotating equipment such as compressors, pumps, and turbines.
- Ensuring the alignment of mechanical systems and components according to OEM standards.
- Managing flange joint integrity and overseeing bolting activities.
- Conducting MRT (Mechanical Run Test)
- Supporting pre-commissioning activities for critical systems like HVAC, cooling water systems, and process gas compressors.
- Participate in equipment box-up.
- Final inspection before box-up.
- Witness mechanical seals installation when required.
Support troubleshooting and technical support for any issues related Mechanical systems Start-up
- Performing predictive maintenance tasks such as condition monitoring and vibration analysis.
- Carrying out lubrication activities and ensuring optimal performance of all rotating machinery.
- Supporting the start-up and handover of mechanical systems to COMPANYs operations team.
- Providing troubleshooting assistance during the early stages of equipment operation.
- Completing punch points related to mechanical systems and ensuring readiness for continuous operation.
- Maintain lubrications and oil top-ups
- Shift coverage after equipment start up.
- Implement Changes
B. Key Roles and Responsibilities for Electrical Services
- Installing high-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems, including transformers, switchgear, and control panels.
- Conducting cable termination and routing for substations, motors, and other electrical systems. (Approved HV jointer for HV System)
- Performing functional tests on electrical systems, verifying compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
- Supporting the commissioning of electrical systems, including conducting solo runs and performance tests of transformers, generators, and motors.
- Overseeing electrical safety testing and ensuring that systems are properly insulated, grounded, and labelled.
- Performing ongoing maintenance tasks for critical electrical components such as transformers, switchgear, and motor control centres (MCCs).
- Monitoring the performance of electrical systems during the initial stages of plant operation, addressing any issues that arise.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards for electrical systems throughout the start-up and operational phases.
- Completing punch points related to electrical systems and ensuring full readiness for continuous operation.
- Shift coverage after equipment start up.
- Maintain greasing and lubrication.
- Support troubleshooting and technical support for any issues related Electrical systems
- Conducting preventive maintenance on critical control systems and ensuring compliance with project specifications.
- To carry out post weld heat treatment.
- Lightings troubleshooting, replacement.
- Test, repair and clean Earthing Pits
C. Key Roles and Responsibilities for Instrumentation and Control Services
- Installing and calibrating instrumentation equipment such as pressure transmitters, flow meters, and control valves.
- Supporting loop testing for instrumentation and control systems, ensuring that signals are transmitted correctly and systems are responsive.
- Verifying that instrumentation components are properly labelled and documented, adhering to project requirements.
- Supporting the commissioning of control systems, including Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) and Distributed Control Systems (DCS).
- Ensuring that all instrumentation systems are properly integrated with plant operations. Start-up and
- Monitoring and maintaining the performance of instrumentation systems, ensuring they operate within acceptable parameters.
- Support troubleshooting and technical support for any issues related to instrumentation and control systems.
- Conducting preventive maintenance on critical control systems and ensuring compliance with project specifications.
- Completing punch points related to instrumentation and control systems and ensuring readiness for continuous operation.
- Shift coverage after equipment start up.
D. Key Roles and Responsibilities for Warehouse and Material Handling Services
- Managing inventory flow, ensuring that critical spares and consumables are available for operational tasks.
- Conducting inventory audits and ensuring accurate documentation of materials and equipment usage during the operational phase.
- Providing logistical support for the movement of materials to various parts of the plant, as required.
E. Key Roles and Responsibilities for HVAC and Fire Gas Telecom (FGT) Services
- Installing HVAC and FGT systems, ensuring that they meet project specifications and safety standards.
- Calibrating and testing HVAC and FGT systems to ensure operational readiness and compliance with HSE requirements.
- Troubleshooting and adjusting systems as needed to ensure optimal performance during the commissioning process.
- Monitoring HVAC and FGT systems during start-up to ensure that they function as required.
- Performing preventive maintenance tasks to ensure that HVAC and FGT systems continue to meet operational and safety requirements.
- Troubleshooting and resolving any issues with HVAC and FGT systems during the operational phase.
F. Condition Monitoring Services
- Conducting condition monitoring tasks for all rotating equipment, including vibration analysis for (non-critical) and temperature monitoring.
- Ensuring that all critical equipment is preserved according to OEM standards and is ready for operational use.
Providing detailed reports on the condition of rotating equipment, highlighting any potential issues that need to be addressed before start-up.
- Performing ongoing condition monitoring to ensure the optimal performance of rotating equipment.
- Conducting predictive maintenance to identify potential equipment failures and prevent unplanned downtime.
- Ensuring that all rotating equipment operates within acceptable vibration and temperature ranges throughout the operational phase.
- Lube oil sample date collection and analysis reports.

Key Deliverables
Employee shall ensure the following deliverables are provided as part of the contract:
1. Pre-commissioning Reports: Detailed reports outlining the readiness of systems, including checklists, test results, and system performance data.
2. Commissioning and Start-up Reports: Comprehensive reports on the functionality of systems, including calibration data, operational test results, and handover documentation.
3. Maintenance Reports: Monthly reports detailing preventive and corrective maintenance tasks, condition monitoring data, and equipment reliability assessments.
4. Handover Documentation: Complete operational documentation, including system data, performance reports, and operational guidelines.
5. PM Compliance, Compliance to work instruction & Procedure.
6. Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) which need to be agreed in advance.
7. Performance KPI.
8. Training Materials: Training will be provided to personnel on system operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures.
