Job Description:
Need a Cloud Architect having experience of 8-10 years experience. He should be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing cloud-based solutions to meet the needs of the organization. They should serve as a technical leader and strategist in cloud adoption, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in cloud technologies and architecture.
- Certifications like AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Cloud Architect are highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Cloud Architecture Design:
- Design cloud-native solutions that align with business and technical requirements.
- Develop multi-cloud strategies for hybrid or public cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure primarily).
2. Infrastructure & Deployment:
- Build and deploy scalable, high-availability systems in the cloud.
- Ensure performance, availability, and security of cloud platforms.
3. Cloud Migration:
- Develop migration strategies for transitioning workloads and applications to the cloud.
- Perform cost-benefit analysis for migration decisions.
4. Governance & Security:
- Implement and manage security policies and procedures to safeguard cloud infrastructure.
- Monitor compliance with industry standards and best practices (e.g., ISO, GDPR, HIPAA).
5. Collaboration & Leadership:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., DevOps, developers, operations).
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineering teams.
6. Automation & Optimization:
- Drive automation efforts for provisioning, monitoring, and managing cloud environments.
- Optimize cloud costs through resource allocation and monitoring.
Required Skills:
1. Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Strong understanding of networking, virtualization, and containerization (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
- Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
2. Problem Solving:
- Excellent troubleshooting skills for performance and security issues.
- Analytical mindset to address architectural challenges.
3. Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
