Job Summary
- DATA: Join our team as a Specialist in Loan Originations where you will utilize your expertise in MS Excel to streamline processes and ensure accuracy in loan documentation. With 2 to 4 years of experience you will play a crucial role in pre-underwriting and post-close underwriting contributing to the efficiency and success of our operations. This position requires working from the office during night shifts offering a dynamic and engaging work environment.
Responsibilities
- Analyze loan applications using MS Excel to ensure data accuracy and compliance with company standards.
- Collaborate with the underwriting team to facilitate pre-underwriting processes ensuring all necessary documentation is complete.
- Monitor post-close underwriting activities to verify that all conditions have been met and documentation is properly filed.
- Maintain detailed records of loan originations and updates using advanced Excel functions to support efficient workflow.
- Communicate effectively with team members to resolve discrepancies and improve loan processing timelines.
- Implement strategies to optimize the use of MS Excel in loan originations enhancing productivity and accuracy.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve loan origination processes.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements throughout the loan origination process.
- Support the development of training materials for new team members focusing on Excel proficiency and underwriting knowledge.
- Participate in regular team meetings to discuss progress challenges and opportunities for improvement.
- Utilize domain skills in pre-underwriting and post-close underwriting to enhance the quality of loan processing.
- Contribute to the companys goals by ensuring efficient and accurate loan originations impacting overall business success.
- Foster a collaborative work environment by sharing knowledge and expertise with colleagues. Qualifications
- Demonstrate proficiency in MS Excel including advanced functions and data analysis techniques.
- Possess a strong understanding of pre-underwriting and post-close underwriting processes.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Show attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy in loan documentation.
- Display the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently during night shifts.
- Have a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement in loan originations.
- Bring a minimum of 2 years of experience in loan originations with a focus on Excel and underwriting skills.
