Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Application Tester to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating functional and non-functional requirements, identifying defects, and working closely with development teams to deliver high-quality software.Key Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements, design documents, and user stories to create effective test plans and test cases
• Perform manual testing of web and/or mobile applications
• Execute functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing
• Identify, document, and track defects using defect-tracking tools
• Validate bug fixes and perform regression testing
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues
• Ensure applications meet quality standards, usability guidelines, and performance expectations
• Participate in test reviews and continuous improvement of QA processes
• Support release activities and post-deployment verification

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or equivalent experience
• Proven experience as an Application Tester / Software Tester
• Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and SDLC
• Experience with manual testing methodologies
• Knowledge of test case creation, execution, and defect lifecycle
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps, Bugzilla)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
