Position Summary
The Team lead Payroll, AP& AR Accounting is responsible for managing a team of 3-4 member team managing three critical process and drive efficiency to support business for APAC. This position will be reporting to Team Lead APAC Shared Services
Key Responsibilities
- Primary task to overview the day-to-day operations, act as an SME.
- Having thorough knowledge of these processes, able to guide and train the team members.
- Play a key role during month/quarter close, give support to the APAC lead to delivering the results timely.
- Emphasis to keep balance sheet accounts healthy, by proactively flagging off risks. Ensuring a timely follow ups on all open rec items by the team.
- Should build a good interlock with HR, payroll team, business finance, controllers and other infrastructure groups.
- Provide guidance on matters like actuarial valuation and other statutory liabilities in APAC countries
- Provide Guidance to teams on revaluation of FX trade payables and receivables
- Drive the team for critical support during the statutory/internal audits.
- Assess teams performance regularly, set clear goals.
Qualifications
- Post graduation in Finance and Accounting.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in accounting, ideally with exposure to AP, AR and Payroll accounting.
- Ability to analyze and dig deep to find the correct answers
- Experience with ERP systems is must, preferably Oracle - Fusion
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.
- Very good level of written and spoken English (knowledge of any other language will be an advantage)
