Role Overview
We are looking for a Software Engineer I (Frontend) to build intuitive, performant, and scalable web applications. You will work closely with backend engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop modern web applications using Next.js and React.js
- Implement predictable state management using Redux
- Translate product requirements and designs into clean, responsive UI
- Optimize applications for performance, SEO, and accessibility
- Collaborate with backend teams to integrate APIs
- Write reusable, maintainable frontend components
- Participate in code reviews and UI/UX discussions
Required Skills
- 0-1 year of frontend development experience
- Strong hands-on experience in the last 1 year with:
- Next.js
- React.js
- Redux
- Tailwind css
- Solid understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Experience with modern frontend tooling and build systems
Soft Skills & Mindset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong product understanding and learning capability
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Proactive problem-solver with a product-first mindset
- Ownership mindset and attention to detail
- Comfortable working in fast-paced product environments
Good to Have
- Experience with TypeScript
- Familiarity with component libraries and design systems
- Basic understanding of SEO and performance optimization
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and containerization
- Knowledge of security best practices
