Analyst General Ledger Accounting
Position Summary:
Junior A2R accountant reports to Team Lead GL and IRA and performs period-end closing activities in a timely manner and in accordance with operational procedures, global corporate standards, and local requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for books close for multiple countries in APAC region
- Perform reconciliations, postings, and month-end activities in line with internal standards
- Participate in group reporting and consolidation processes
- Support external and internal auditors by providing required documentation and explanations
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and actively contribute to process excellence initiatives
- Prepare various reports and analysis as requested by senior management
- Support Statutory accounts for the countries.
- Handle ad-hoc operational and administrative queries
Preferred Qualifications:
- University degree, preferably in Finance and Accounting similar
- At least 3+ years of experience of managing accounting (preferably in General Ledger or R2R area)
- Knowledge of ERP systems
- Very good level of written and spoken English (knowledge of additional languages is an advantage)
- Strong willingness to learn and develop
