Hospital Pharmacist @ Apollo Pharmacy

Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Monitor daily bed occupancy and plan OP/IP pharmacy operations.
• Raise, receive, and verify stock (quantity, batch, expiry) and store items appropriately.
• Dispense drugs accurately as per prescriptions/indents for OP and IP areas.
• Ensure proper verification of prescriptions (patient details, doctor name, clarity of order).
• Coordinate with purchase/stores/distributors for unavailable medicines; update doctors on substitutes when required.
• Follow all legal protocols for narcotics handling and documentation.
• Counsel patients on dosage and usage when needed.
• Prepare and verify billing; ensure accurate batch/expiry checks before dispensing.
• Manage ward/OT/ICU indents, cross-check medicines, and process returns accurately.
• Participate in departmental training, quality, and compliance initiatives

Education - B.Pharm / M.Pharm

Experience - 0 to 5 Years
