 Senior Software Engineer-ETL Developer

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced ETL Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about coding and developing scalable and high-performance applications. You will work closely with our front-end developers, designers, and other members of the team to deliver quality solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 5 years of relevant experience.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • ETL Development & Implementation Strong experience in designing, developing, and deploying ETL solutions using Informatica Cloud Services (ICS), Informatica PowerCenter, and other data integration tools.
  • Data Integration & Optimization Proficient in extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data from multiple sources, optimizing performance, and ensuring data quality.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration Skilled at working with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders, to align data solutions with business needs.
  • Scripting & Data Handling Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) for data manipulation, transformation, and automation.
  • Tool Proficiency Familiarity with Informatica Cloud, version control systems (e.g., Git), JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Agile Methodologies Knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) with experience in managing backlogs, writing user stories, and participating in sprint planning.
  • Testing & Validation Involvement in ETL testing, data validation, unit testing, and integration testing to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of data. Problem-Solving Skills Strong analytical mindset to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize ETL workflows, data pipelines, and integration solutions effectively.
  • Communication & Documentation Excellent written and verbal communication skills to document ETL processes, create technical design documents, and present data integration strategies to stakeholders..
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.. Minimum of 6 years of experience as an Informatica Developer, with hands-on involvement in enterprise-scale ETL and data integration projects..
  • Proficiency in Informatica Cloud Services (ICS), Informatica PowerCenter, and other ETL tools for data extraction, transformation, and loading.. Strong SQL skills and experience with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, or PostgreSQL to support data processing and optimization..
  • Ability to translate business requirements into ETL workflows, data mappings, and process flows that align with business goals.. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot data integration issues, optimize performance, and ensure data accuracy.. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and convey complex data concepts clearly.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, adapting to changing priorities as needed.
  • Must-Have Skills:. Proficiency in Informatica Cloud Services (ICS), Informatica PowerCenter, and other ETL tools for data extraction, transformation, and loading.. Strong SQL skills and experience with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, or PostgreSQL to support data processing and optimization.
  • Good-to-Have Skills:Exposure with Banking domain would be recommended . Able to work in a production support environment. . Should be able to work with L1 support team. . Good Communication is must.
