Role & responsibilities
Job Summary
The IT Logistics Assistant role is responsible for supporting IT infrastructure team through physical asset handling, desk setup, vending machine replenishment, storeroom operations, and shipment support. The role ensures compliance with client processes, safety standards, and SLA commitments while enabling smooth day-to-day IT operations
Skills & Qualifications
- Basic understanding of IT hardware (laptops, desktops, monitors, accessories)
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and moving equipment
- Attention to detail in documentation and asset handling
- Willingness to follow strict security, safety, and process guidelines
- Good coordination and communication skills
- Fresher or experienced candidates with IT Admin/Office Assistant/ warehouse / logistics background can apply
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Refill IT vending machines daily with accessories such as keyboards, mouse, headsets, cables, adapters, and security keys
- Move IT hardware and accessories within client office buildings using designated service lifts
- Pack, unpack, and track IT assets during internal movement
- Deploy IT hardware and assist with desk setup including monitors, laptops, desktops, locks, and cable management
- Collect IT assets from office floors and organize them in IT storerooms
- Maintain storeroom cleanliness, rack alignment, tagging, and e-waste segregation
- Support inbound and outbound IT shipments and inventory placement
- Perform daily IT bin cleanup across office floors
- Maintain basic documents such as gate passes, invoices, and asset movement records
Working Hours
- Support during standard business hours
- Weekend support as required by Client
- Shift flexibility based on operational needs
