Job Description
-
Set up machines as per job card and production specifications.
-
Ensure proper tooling, alignment, and material loading before start-up.
-
Operate machines safely and efficiently to meet production targets.
-
Strong understanding of cable manufacturing processes and parameters.
-
Knowledge of lay length, insulation thickness, coverage, and curing requirements.
-
Monitor and control critical process parameters such as temperature, pressure, tension, line speed, overlap, and concentricity.
-
Ensure adherence to process specifications.
-
Verify product quality including insulation thickness, armoring coverage, overlap, and surface finish.
-
Coordinate with quality team for in-process inspections and testing.
-
Identify and resolve process issues such as wire breakage, uneven insulation, overlap deviations, and machine faults.
-
Minimize downtime through quick corrective actions.
-
Follow SOPs, safety guidelines, and PPE requirements.
-
Maintain 5S standards and safe work practices.
-
Maintain Daily Production Reports (DPR).
-
Record process parameters and in-process quality checks accurately.
We are looking for experienced machine operators for CCV, VCV, Armouring, Extruder, Sheathing, RBD, Drum Twister, Corrugation, and RST machines. Candidates must have hands-on experience in cable manufacturing processes.
