Job Title: API Automation Test Engineer (Rest Assured)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled API Automation Test Engineer with hands-on experience in API testing using Rest Assured. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts for RESTful services to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated API test scripts using Rest Assured.
• Validate RESTful web services (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE) and response structures (JSON/XML).
• Design reusable test frameworks and utilities for API automation.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Analyze test results and report defects using bug-tracking tools.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and DevOps teams.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of REST API concepts and HTTP protocols.
• Hands-on experience with Rest Assured.
• Proficiency in Java programming.
• Experience with TestNG/JUnit frameworks.
• Knowledge of Maven/Gradle build tools.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins).
• Understanding of JSON, XML, and schema validation.
