Job Description

We are seeking an experienced DataStage Developer to design, build, and support robust ETL solutions using IBM InfoSphere DataStage. The ideal candidate will have strong data integration skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement ETL jobs using IBM InfoSphere DataStage (Parallel & Server jobs).

Gather and analyze business requirements to develop scalable ETL solutions.

Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading from heterogeneous sources.

Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures.

Troubleshoot ETL failures, perform root-cause analysis, and improve overall job performance.

Collaborate with Data Architects, Business Analysts, and QA teams to ensure high-quality data delivery.

Prepare and maintain technical documentation and data flow diagrams.

Support production deployments and provide on-call support as needed.

Required Skills

Hands-on experience with IBM InfoSphere DataStage (3+ years).

Strong ETL development skills with Parallel jobs and sequences.

Proficiency in SQL and relational databases.

Experience with Unix/Linux commands and shell scripting.

Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL frameworks, and data modelling.

Good-to-Have Skills

Oracle database expertise (PL/SQL, performance tuning).

Unix advanced scripting and automation skills.

Experience with Talend ETL tool.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Knowledge of scheduling tools like Control-M or Autosys.
