Job Description

Location: Bangalore/Hubli
Employment Type: Full-Time
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Mendix Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-grade low-code applications using the Mendix platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining architecture standards, ensuring best practices, and driving digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end architecture, design, and delivery of applications on the Mendix low-code platform.
- Define technical architecture including domain models, microflows, integrations, security, and deployment strategy.
- Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
- Design integration solutions with enterprise systems (SAP, Salesforce, REST/SOAP APIs, databases, etc.).
- Establish governance, coding standards, and best practices for Mendix development.
- Conduct architecture reviews and ensure performance optimization.
- Mentor and guide Mendix developers and technical teams.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes for Mendix applications.
- Ensure compliance with security, data privacy, and enterprise architecture standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, and project managers to ensure successful project delivery.
Technical Skills Required
- Strong hands-on experience with Mendix Studio Pro.
- Expertise in:
- Domain modeling
- Microflows & Nanoflows
- OData, REST & SOAP integrations
- Mendix Marketplace modules
- SSO implementation
- Role-based security
- Experience with:
- Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
- Git version control
- Database management (SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
- Knowledge of Java for custom Mendix extensions.
- Understanding of enterprise integration patterns and API management.
- Experience with containerization (Docker) is an advantage.
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Mendix Advanced/Expert Certification preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in large-scale digital transformation programs.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience in manufacturing, finance, or enterprise environments is a plus.
