Candidate Profile

Aranca is seeking candidates with 0-1 year of experience in technology research and consulting. The role involves working in close coordination with internal product teams and supporting strategic initiatives through the identification of emerging technologies and preparation of technology or product roadmaps. The role also includes contributing to internal product development initiatives and supporting opportunity identification efforts through structured research, account mapping, and preparation for targeted outreach activities.

Role & responsibilities

• Conduct research on emerging technologies using patents, journals, articles, and other secondary sources
• Track developments in high-growth sectors, especially from research labs and universities
• Help analyse findings and summarize key insights for decision-making
• Coordinate with team members and managers to support project delivery
• Assist in preparing draft slides, reports, and proposals
• Contribute to knowledge documents or short articles related to technology trends
• Support the team in technology research initiatives across client projects, internal product development, and proprietary tools
• Contribute to opportunity identification efforts through structured background research, account mapping, and preparation for targeted outreach initiatives

Key Requirement:

• B.Tech/B.Sc. in Biotechnology, Biomedical with outstanding academic achievements.
• Ability to comprehend technologies discussed in patents, journals, articles and related literature
• Effectively write technology and business-related reports
• Knowledge of patents and would be an add-on (though not a mandatory requirement)
