Job Description

An Oracle Retail Trainer is responsible for educating retail employees, consultants, or clients on how to effectively use Oracle Retail applications (such as Xstore POS, Merchandising Foundation Cloud Service - MFCS, or Order Management). This role involves creating training materials, delivering sessions (virtual or in-person), and ensuring users understand how to apply the technology to retail operations.Key Responsibilities
Deliver instructor-led, hands-on, and virtual training sessions on Oracle Retail applications for business users and support teams.
Develop and maintain training materials such as user manuals, quick reference guides, business process documents, and scenario-based exercises.
Provide functional expertise in Oracle Retail modules including RMS (Retail Merchandising System), ReSA (Retail Sales Audit), RPM (Retail Price Management), RIB (Retail Integration Bus), and related applications.
Align training programs with retail business processes such as merchandising, pricing, promotions, inventory management, procurement, and store operations.
Support go-live activities and post-implementation stabilization by assisting users with functional queries and adoption.
Prepare and manage training environments, test data, and support UAT sessions.
Conduct requirement analysis and identify knowledge gaps to tailor training based on client-specific retail workflows.Required Skills and Experience
410+ years of experience in Oracle Retail functional consulting and end-user training.
Strong hands-on expertise in Oracle Retail modules such as RMS, ReSA, RPM, and integration processes.
In-depth understanding of retail domain operations including merchandising, inventory control, pricing strategies, and supply chain processes.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Good knowledge of Oracle Retail architecture, batch processes, and system integrations.
Oracle Retail or relevant Oracle certifications are highly preferred.
