Job Description

Job Title: AIDL Developer (Android Interface Definition Language)

Experience: 3-8 Years
Location: Hyderabad

Notice Period: Immediate to 15 Days

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled AIDL Developer with strong expertise in Android system-level development. The candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing AIDL-based interfaces and working closely with HAL/HIDL layers to enable seamless communication between Android framework and hardware components.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop AIDL (Android Interface Definition Language) interfaces for Android system services.
• Implement and manage Binder-based IPC mechanisms.
• Work on HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer) integration with Android framework.
• Develop and maintain HIDL (HAL Interface Definition Language) components where required.
• Collaborate with Embedded and Hardware teams for system-level integration.
• Debug and resolve issues across framework, HAL, and hardware layers.
• Optimize performance and ensure stability of Android system services.
• Support testing, validation, and deployment activities.
  

Required Skills

• 3-8 years of experience in Android development.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Android Framework
  
• AIDL
  
• HAL
  
• HIDL
  
• Good understanding of Android architecture (Framework HAL Kernel).
• Experience in Binder IPC mechanisms.
• Strong debugging skills using ADB, Logcat, and related tools.
• Proficiency in Java and/or C++.
  

Good to Have

• Experience in Automotive / Android IVI platforms.
• Knowledge of Linux systems and kernel concepts.
• Experience with system services and native layer development.
• Exposure to Embedded Android development.
